Comments now turned "on"
A handful of users have asked why we don't have comments turned "on".
We don't have a good reason! So now they're turned on. We'd love to hear your comments.
Write freely! Tell us what you think. Help us be better. Help us be the most interesting, innovative, passionate, helpful and wildly inspiring magic site on the web.
We're not trying to be just "a little bit cheaper". We're not trying to have just "good customer service". We're not trying to have just "a few more demo videos". We're trying to completely revolutionize the way magicians interact on the web. We're trying to revolutionize the way magicians buy and sell magic.
I'll be the first to admit that we've got a LONG way to go and TONS of room for improvement. My "short list" of new features I'd like to see on the new Penguin site (currently in development from the ground up) is about four pages long (and growing)!
Tell us what we could be. Tell us how we could help you get more out of Penguin. Tell us how we could do more. Tell us how we could better support you as you go out and entertain the world.
And keep telling us what to do. This site is about you. This company works for you.

good luck. I would really like to see this get real big!
And for the poster above me, c'mon, cut these guys some slack. Them, being in there 20's, have accomplished alot (probably more than you). So dont be so quick to criticize.

I cant believe people would leave such negativity. If only you could make those people dissapear! Keep up the good work, I have always had a curiosity with magic that I'm getting more and more into and your site and blog seem to be great sources of info and starting development for the amateur magician. I look forward to learning since what I've seen so far (especially the STS) is extremely motivating!

I can say this: Jay Noblezada has not only been a huge help to me in terms of learning and perfecting techniques, but from the first time I wrote to him he's been a genuine friend.
People don't do business with companies... they do business with friends. You can count on my personal loyalty for a long time to come.
(Just wish you hadn't used Tackey as your "poster boy"... Jay Chou would have been a far better choice, in my opinion. (heh heh heh)

Here's my two cents, for what it's worth:
From the time I first found Penguin Magic, Jay Noblezada has not only been a quick-to-reply teacher and encourager, he's also been a genuine friend. He quickly came along side of me and encouraged me, instructed me and offered his honest opinion of my ideas.
It's been my experience that people don't do business with "companies" (there are tons of those... Ellusionist and others) No, people do business with people they trust.
You can count on me to be a loyal friend to Penguin and all of its staff.
...Now for the criticism... Just wish you hadn't used Tackey as your poster boy celeb. In the world of Asian pop, he's pretty fruity, almost manga/yaoi.
Jay Chou (while not Japanese, he's Taiwanese), would have been a much better choice (look up his music, his recent movie "Initial D" and the fact that he wrote the score for Jet Li's newest movie, "Fearless"). Besides, he's got a brooding, strong persona better fitting your style of magic (doesn't hurt that he also packs in 80,000 per night for 5-day concerts in the Taipei Stadium).
So far from being negative about you, I consider finding Penguin Magic, and meeting Jay Noblezada to be the best gift that 2006 has given me.
Don't listen to the nay-sayers, you guys are on to a great thing.
All my best
Tim
Anyway, that's about as ranty as I get.
