most ppl r gonna recommend that u start out with a book such as Royal Road to Card Magic, Card College, or Bobo's Modern Coin Magic to start out with if you're a beginner. They will get u a lot more tricks for a smaller price, but if u really want to get some single effects i can highly recommend stigmata and greed. Both stigmata and greed are fairly easy to do even if you are just starting magic. I didn't really know what ur price range for inexpensive was tho so sry if $30 wasn't within what u were looking at.

yea since u said ur price range was within 10-15 i would either recommend u get royal road to card magic or bobo's book to modern coin magic. just pick whichever one interests u more at the moment. cards or coins.

Well, so far you have gotten some really rotten advice. I hope you ignore 100% of it. The whole of magic is the performance of the effects, not the effects themselves. You have to take into account your own personality before you can make a decision like that and no one has done that. They have only told you the tricks they like. In fact they may not even be able to perform those tricks, they just like them and have never worked at performance skills.

bit out fo quarter, rising card dekc, balducci levitation, every single e video, gaff decks, invisible deck, sinful, stigmata.

Haha just kidding, yeah cards play well beucase if you walk up to somebody and ask if they would liek to see something and they see cards in your hand they would probably get it that your a magician. Now walk up to comebody with a can and ask if they want to see something, they might think your going to try and fit it in an orfice.
