He's right, school is home to the biggest hecklers you can ever find.

Not true. I perform this and many other effects that people here say not too at school. I have never hand this problem at school, or at the movie theater at the opening of harry poter (very crowded.) Plus its more convincing if you float a borrowed item, I usually use a credit card or drivers liscence. With crowd control you wont have a problem, and with confidence its less likey as well.
Yes add it, its a great effect.

-And I for one have never been heckled at school, never had that problem. I always get great reactions, and people wanting to see more. They are interested.

id say no because it is a very tempting thing to grab a hold of and it takes a while to get used to the trick

but what about a non-crowded area like showin my friends which would be like in a part of the school where everyone else is doin something else.
Then if they DO gather and get restless, should I just give em a mini magic show or somthin or just stop?
-Thank you :D

For just showing your friends I'd say yeah. It's a great trick, it might take you a while to get the spin but once you do its worth all the effort. Also, even in a crowded area you can control the card and when they grab at it, you can just pull it away so I would say yes to adding it to your routine. If they start gettin restless I'd put hummingbird away and go into something that they can grab at and won't ruin the trick.

im not sure if this is revealing or not but i always bend the tape a little and when some one ask to see the card i easily take the tape away and hand it to them.

Yes add it to your routine. (Except if its outside)

All you have to do is learn crowd control and there will be no problem. If you think you have a lousy crowd who will grab at stuff, then don't do it. But if you can control the crowd, it's a great effect. I've never had problems with it. I have even taken other peoples (credit cards, liscense, etc.) and have done this effect.
