the "one" continuous shot thing was a bit too much for me

overall your handling was pretty smooth

your lifts weren't too bad either

That's the first time I have been complimented by another illusionist.

That made me smile.

Haha yeah the one continous shot thing...

I get uncomfortable on camera because

1 - people may suspect post production editing, cuts, etc.

2 - the viewer is viewing from a static angle, which often makes them feel visually uninformed

3 - in real life, the viewer would not be able to pause, play, and reqind my lifts and shuffles, so I get nervous.

It's just my way to say "what you see is exactly what you would see if there was no camera"

Nice and smooth handling. Very convincing.

That's definitely a routine to be proud of. Now go shoot a video of you performing it so we can see the specs reactions.

Nice job, but the continuous shot was a little much.

when you double show two different cards don't show them so long, just give a flash. showing the same card four times is okay to show them as long as you want because its a different effect. Nice routine though.

that was one of the best card tricks on youtube, my friend.

however, that trick is called "jumping gemini". You do it a lot better than I do at the moment :D

your thumb counts are a little obvious, but that fades away with time. if you do get really worried about that though, the strike DL would be a good thing to learn.

With the DL you should show the double the same way you would show a single. You lift 2 cards a lot differently than you do just 1, so it's pretty obvious.

Wow, thank you for the reponse; I shot this video awhile ago and rather hurridly, with an old deck.

I'm getting better at the lifts.

I really appreciate the positive comments.

I might post videos of more tricks, once I get decent internet back.

I could too, I shot the video awhile ago.

Those lifts make me cringe now.

Honestly? You suck...just kidding. No seriously though, your lifts were nice but you kind of stuttered a bit...But the card handling was really good. But i think you need a better reason to be doing some of those lifts. Im not trying to be rude, you asked for advice. The best thing you did was your card handling so just ask about your patter, and go perform it. Good luck.

Thank you; I appreciate the feedback.

I perform terribly for a camera; I actually do stutter :x.

I'm more confident in my patter when speaking with someone or a group of people.
