Hi, I am looking on any sites or axplinations that you may have to a certain trick. I recently saw a magician perform it, and I thought it was a great effect. Im not sure what the name is, but i'll try to explain it. The magician asks a person to think of a card, not the ace spades, and say it out loud. Lets say the spectator thinks of the card "the four of diamonds." He then asks a different person to pick a number between 1 and 52. They say it out loud. Lets say they pick the number 12. The magician then takes out a deck of cards, and has the spectator count off the number of cards that the spectator just said (12 cards). The spectator deals out 11 crds, and the magician tells him to flip over the 12th card. It is the four of diamonds. Can anyone please help???

Yes, Criss Angel did do that effect on this season of Mindfreak. I believe that version is in J.B. Born's book (I forget the name of it).

i believe there is a routine which is quite the same which is performed by Harry Lorayne. Numero Uno i believe is the name of the trick, just cant remember what book it was in.
