I personally haven't seen this effect sold, but the change, is called the snap change, which is sold here.

I've never seen the trick sold seperately, but it has the same effect of Danny Garcia's Ego. I don't like either part of the thing that Blaine did.

in david blaine's book "mysterious stranger" he teaches a version of it. it barely ever works though. I remember watching the demo video for Miracles With a Short Card DVD sold here at penguin, and the guy did that effect to a girl on the street.

I'm pretty sure I saw it in Royal Road to Card Magic. I'm not sure though. It's a very easy trick to do. More psychology(sp?) is involved than magic...

ya just keep watching what he does with the cards and his fingers and stuff come on your a magician use your magician senses:D and ugh i hate blaine to when ever he talks he sounds like hes tired and stuff hes never like smiling and stuff if you know what i mean.

The change was a Snap Change, and the thing where he riffled the cards I learned in The Expert at the Card Table. It's also probably in Card College. 8)
