i am considering getting a tt but am unsure which to buy, wat is the big difference between the classic tt and the soft tt?

Do a search, and you will find everything that you need. But to make it simple, classic tt is a lot better for bill switches, soft tt works well with everything else.

I personally prefer the Vernet Soft. It is longer , and that gives me a little more load space than the Classic. Even though it is called "soft", It is actually not squishy like you may be thinking. It's slightly firm, but has a little more give to it than the Vernet Classic.

Either would definately be a good purchase for you. I just thought that I'd give my personal opinion.

any of the 2 will do. you can even purchase the 2 kinds. it's not that expensive though.

The soft TT is really great. the plastic bends and gives, which makes it easy to manipulate, and it doesnt develope a shine after a while like the hard ones do. it might match your skin tone better. Yes, i do know your true skin tone, just by reading the type of post you made. I'm able to analyze things and notice minute details execptionally well. Haha jk.


The most important things to look for in a TT are size, color, and texture, and comfort. In the PO thread for TT's, you can learn how to fit one to your thumb. The soft TT has a more realistic skin color (i think). Plus, you dont get any hard plastic clicking noise or anything. It also feels very comfortable on your thumb.
