I'm 16, fairly good and have a routine. I think i'd do good but I'm shorter and don't think people will pay attention to me.

Run a search for the users Paddy and DaveV. They give great advice.

Gazzo's rather "height challenged" and it hasn't slowed him down from being one of the best buskers in the business.

Much of busking depends on you, and your ability to get and keep a crowd. What you do is secondary.

Do you have the personality to get people to stop and watch? Then can you entertain them in a way that they go away happy, but not before leaving money in your hat? If so, you'll do fine. If not, hunger is a great teacher. It won't be long before you find out for yourself what works in the street and what doesn't.

Tom Frank, ho started busking in Cincinnati OH, then moved to Seattle and is now in Los Angeles has been busking for a LOOOOOOOG time. His standard thing is performing his show while standing on a newspaper vending machine, like hthe ones you buy "USA Today" out of. I was going to try that once but almost broke my a$$ trying to get on top of the darn thing so gave up trying that. BTW I am only 5' 4" tall and have never had a problem gathering a tip to do a show.
