ok i just pulled off this trick for a couple of mmy mates and they thought it was amazing but im thinking of doing it at a party plz tell me if you think it is party worth. first things first i pick someone then i ask them to pick a card the i ask them to put it on the top of the deck. the i give the deck a shake then i ask them to find the card in there deck they cant find it. so i ask them to grab the last jones soda( popular drink where i live) in the fridge and look in it.the cards in it. removing the card from the bottle i burn it with a lighter and it returns to the top of the deck.

plz be brutally honest.

It sounds very creative. The soda part seems like Bottled Up by Jared Millican. I would find a different way to end it though, because if you burn the card up, and it returns to the top of the deck, it really suggests that there might be a duplicate card.

If you can color change the selected card to another and burn that one, it would be awesome. Find a good color change if you don't already know a couple.
Flash paper would also add to the effect.

Oh and lastly, WELCOME TO PENGUIN TOWN :D

BTW How can you burn the card if it's been sitting in soda for a while?

thanks for the advice. you are right about buring it another version i thought of doing was ripping it up and then bringing it back to the top.
as for how did i burn it after it was sitting in my soda. i gave it a couple shakes whcih got the big parts of water off it then i had no problem because byciclye cards are water proof.

ps if you feel free to duplicate this trick its great but be careful make sure you use byciclye because i tried using another brand and the card sarted making bubbles inside the bottle and slowly disinegrated.

thanks for the welcome!

Looks like you got some nice routine down there. If you can pull it off smoothly it will be a good trick for a party :)

Good luck

that would be a great trick for a party...
it has the right amount of complexity to it that misdirects that it is merely a card control and/or force.

That's the beauty about creating new illusions... you are essentially doing an old-school thing in a very new-school way.

good luck!
