Ah first post :) Hi there dsingle.

When you say you're making a video for youtube? Do you mean you're going to sit in your room in front of a camera, or you're going to get somebody to film yourself performing out in public. Personally I'm not fond on the first idea because of the exposure... youtube users always expose gimmicked tricks no matter how well they're performed.

If it's the second idea, my personal favourites would be spongeballs (what is your routine like?) and doing a short sleeve raven, both personally get the biggest reactions from very small crowds.

Perform the effects that you are best at, and that cant be easily figured out. Try to perform them for real people or "on stage", rather than just standing or sitting in front of the camera.

I'm going to be posting some of my first videos next week when I get my internet connection back but unfortunately they are just in front of my new webcam...

From bobos coin book, learn the invisible coin, flying eagles, and coins across.
