I have been thinking about a street routine, for when i can do street magic. (i have a broken rib) I am not exactly sure how this will work out, you can recommend tricks that would go with this, or just tell me what else i need on it.

A) I do two dollar window with my two dollars, then say, i can do it with your money also... They hand me 2 one dollar bills, then i say i will mark one of these with my pen (pull out b2 er). I do the b2 er then give them their dollar bill back and say thanks for being a good audience and walk away.

B) I am not totally sure about how i am going to incorporate these tricks, invisible deck, penguin monte, and whatever i get from my card wallet. You can tell me how to use the ones in "B)" and/or reccommend some card tricks.

Please just help me out, dont make any hurtful comments, ill spend up to 30 more dollars on my routine. You can even add a C) to my list.

Do you know any impromptu magic that doesn't require gimmicks?

Are those the only effects that you have?

If so, don't waste your money on any other single effect. Get some good books, study them, and then go out and perform.

RRTCM is a great book for it's price... one of the best starting points for card magic.

If you have a deeper wallet, Card College is an amazing series.

If you haven't got Bobo's Modern Coin Magic, this book is an absolute must and very inexpensive too.

I dont have a job yet, only in the summer as a farmboy for 6 dollars an hour.
If you had a choice, would you get bobos new modern coin magic, or RRTCM.

Plus, i might get money for report card but might not want to spend it all on magic.

Depends on what you like.

If you like cards, obviously RRTCM.

If you like coins, can't go wrong with Bobo's.

Well, i figure that coins will be alot harder... And cards ... everybody will think they are gimmicked. There are the pros and cons to both... so i will try and buy both.

Get Mark Wilsons Complete Course. It has sections on card and coin magic along with many other forms of magic. It is a great starting point for magicians just starting out because it helps them identify the parts of magic they are interested in. I got a copy a while ago and dont think it was that expensive.

These two posts really cancel each other out. You have 6 gimmicks and you want to be a busker. If you ever get a ticket for speeding will you then claim to be a lawyer?

Why do people think that a gimmick, like the invisible deck that an untrained monkey can perform, makes them a magician, let alone a busker.

I searched and found these topics, they might be of some help. You might notice a small similarity between all of them.

... Not again kraynik ... not again ... Im not trying to be a busker, and I am just asking what people think of those small routines that I can do for random people for fun, and what tricks would be good in a little routine. I bought the RRTCM and it is a really good book.

Just wondering ... are you obsessed with me or something, gaynik... oops I mean Kraynik? All you do is rag on my posts, and I am getting sick of it. You take all the time in the world to spam my posts and post insults and it is just a waste. STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP!!!!!!!
You're a hyprocrite. You've spammed the forum with the same question. Instead of just continuing one thread, you feel as if you need multiple threads asking the same thing. Also, you just insulted him. Meaning, you're a hyprocrite.

Actually though, Kraynik gave some good advice, look at your previous topics.
