I was just wondering, what color for cards do you prefer? I prefer red as it is more vibrant and eye catching, most of my trick decks are red, and it's easy to see a signature, what about you guys? I was actually buying them in bulk the other day, 12 for 15 bucks, but it was 6 red, 6 blue, and i need like 10 red, 2 blue, so I was going to switch them out, but it just so happens a camera was right about that aisle, and an employee was walking by often. Not only that, but the top doesn't open easily so I'm sure it looked more like shoplifting than deck switching, I ended up sticking with the 6 and 6.

Ask an employee or the store manager if they'll break open a pack so you can purchase the amounts of the colors you need. Most times they'll accomodate the customer for the sale and customer satisfaction. By the way, I also prefer red. Most of my packet tricks are red too.

I use Blue decks for tricks that detroy cards (signed cards, torn corners etc) I use Red decks for sleights (and gimmicked tricks)

I don't know why, but I prefer Red Bicycle cards compared to Blue Bicycle. At the same time though, I prefer Blue Bee cards to Red Bee cards.

Personally, I use blue. I read in a book that blue is a more relaxing color and doesn't stick out as much. With blue, misdirection is easier and you can sneak sleights in with less risk of the spectator catching it.
