While there is no one DVD that will talk on all Gimmicks, there are DVD's on specific Gimmicks.
I love Darwin's Encyclopedia on the TT. There is also Loops by Finn Jon, and Yigal Mesika I am interested in buying. Whose afraid of IT, also looks interesting. But I am defenitely getting Ammar's ETMTM. I am really thinking a lot of getting into this as it is very visual, and looks very magical. I do realize it requires more of me, in terms of controlling my audience and the space around me. Also that HOW it is presented is more important than just the method... done one way the method will be pretty obvious. But I have always risen to a challenge
More often than not if you just put the name of the gimmick you are interested in search you can find books or DVD's teaching on it's use.
On the whole David Blaine/Criss Angel thing, while I detest and abhor Criss Angel, I never felt negatively about David Blaine, I was just never blown away by his style.." Check this out... watch this watch this.." His presentation was just a tad....underwhelming.
But His Physical Endurance stunts are very intriguing..Holding his breath underwater, etc... I had a chance to see him in Times Square once when he was inside a block of ice... was very cool
Oh Check this video out, when I saw it at first I was like.. [edited]??? lol
Silly Billy imitates Blaine and Angel
