Very good quality and gets a great reaction. Just be sure if you're doing a borrow, to not show the back of your coin.

I don't like it because it is a cheap gimmick. Also some people think this is a great trick for restaurants. Think about that. You are in a restaurant around someone's food and you "spit" the piece of the coin back and make it a whole coin again. Kind of gross.

I think the Coin Bite is a great illusion that can easily be carried around in your pocket like you would carry change. A little knowledge on how to do simple coin switches would be needed to show that a borrowed coin can in fact be bitten in half, or pushed through a bottle.

Rest assured, that it doesn't come down to that, and the only action you perform is simply blowing on the coin. And you don't even have to blow hard or in the direction of anyones food to make this illusion stand out and work. For the price and the impact of this small coin illusion device, it is definitely worth purchasing.

You don't even have to "blow" it back on. You can just "take the piece out of your mouth", and "melt it back onto the rest of the coin." If you catch my drift.

Another way that I've used Coin Bite to restore the coin without blowing on it, is simply waving the coin in and upward and downward motion.
Usually on the third movement is when the coin is restored, and it still looks very amazing to the audience, all without the need to blow on the coin for restoration.

I'd just by a folding quarter if I were you. They're much more useful. (ie. Coin-in-a-Bottle) For the "Coin Bite" I use a folding half-dollar because it's easier to see. The only drawback is that you can't borrow one these days. I just hand out a genuine half before and after I perform for inspection.

Two words for this effect...."OVER DONE"

I spent my coin bite quarter long ago by accident. I use my Folding one for that sometimes.

I don't find it gross, espesially with all the methods listed here. Wrap It Up is gross in a restaraunt.

Warp it Up is gross for restaurant, but this is perfect for the restaurant environment. There's no need to "spit" it back if you don't want to. I just got mine last week, and yes the quality is good and it will last me a while and serve the purpose.

It may not be gross to you guys, but paddy has always stated that he doesn't like that trick for restaurant. If it fits your style and audiences aren't disgusted by it, then go ahead and knock yourself out. I personally don't perform this effect, just because it associates me with David Blaine. While he's a good magician, I prefer to be my own performer.
