I am looking into getting a set of Gazzo cups because they look nice, and I hear that they are also quite nice for street work.

Anyway, I was wondering what kind of balls you use with copper cups like that. Red knit balls look terrible with copper cups, so what kind of white colored balls would you recommend getting? I like the Gazzo soccer ball, but I am now aware that Gazzo has not disclosed of the the wear- abouts of how to get them. So what balls do you use, and where can I get them?

I don't want red balls though. Thanks anyway, I appreciate it. I was more looking at the white colored balls, or baseballs. But what I really, REALLY want are the Gazzo soccer balls. I know that the where- abouts of how to get those are a secret to Gazzo though.

If you want some idea of what Gazzo's feel like, get a set of soccer style Foosballs at your local sporting goods store. The size is almost exactly the same, but they're harder plastic. His have a more rubbery feel to them. They're only $5 and you can practice with them to see if seeking out the Gazzos are really what you want. I suspect that's what he uses, but he found a different brand that feels better than what we have here.

Otherwise, go to www.theambitiouscard.com and get some of Frank's Monkey Fist balls. He used to have them in white leather (I know, I made them for him) but when he ran out of those he found someone to make them out of nylon cord. They're more durable than the leather ones and they're washable. They come in all sorts of colors.

Personally, I'd go with the monkey fist balls. I've always liked these.

If you go with Dave's suggestion about the foosballs, you could always dip them in a clear rubberized coating. You can find this coating at nearly any hardware store. It's used to coat hammer handles and the such.

Anyway, you aren't going to find good ones for a lot cheaper. The Auke Van Dukkum mini baseballs are almost $200 U.S.! That is extremely expensive.
