Will somebody please make a thread, or better yet a sticky, on busking terms. I don't know what a pitch and some other things are. Thanks. I'm sure it will help many.

That's hard to do if he doesn't even know what to ask.

There's a list compiled from other buskers (as opposed to simply "street performers") on another forum similar to this, but you can't read it unless you're a member, and as such I can't repeat it here. Sorry.

Terms to look for are:
Circle Show
Doorway Show
Pitch
Bally
Edge
Tip
Hat (not just something you wear)
Trickle
Flush

Thanks, but I still don't know what they mean. What is the site called, or is that a secret too?

Wikipedia has a good page on Busking

If it matters, I would like some definitions as well. I have looked a LOT (wikipedia included LOL) and cant seem to find anything helpful.

There is a small "Glossary of Terms (or what the edited did he say?)" in the back of Gazzo's Art of Krowd Keeping booklet available here at Penguin. Great book if you're looking into busking, I highly recommend it.
