I need a little help putting together my street show. I am going to be located in front of a few business and want to set up with a table and not do walk around stuff. I generally do restaurant and private parties but never a street show. I am not sure what will go well, I have thought of cups and ball, fiber optics, book test, skinners 3 card monte, macdonalds aces, card effect by chan canasta (someone picks a card put back in deck and other random person stops on their card with eyes closed), vacation predection (oz pearlmans) would these work ok? obviously I would not do all because its too much but what do you guys think, what other effects would you recomend?

just remember the rules. Keep your shows short (6 to 12 minutes) hat the heck out of the crowd, and start drawing a new crowd right away. Six shows in an hour each with a $10 to 15 hat is a bunch of money.

I was hoping you would lend your ideas paddy, so the list of tricks I have sound good anyone you would definitely recomend and any you would not.

The "tricks" make no difference, it's how you perform them. I shared a pitch with Character the other day and he used the professor's nightmare as his finale, and it was GREAT!! I dropped it from my act after he led off with his show. I use it as my first effect to draw a tip, he used it to close. Both work, he was getting good hats with it as a closer.

Makes no difference what effect, it's how you use it.

and you need to go to a good place for magic not somewhere really crowded but the best for me is a beach not on the sand though

This is not my idea, it's paddy's ( I am fairly new to street magic) but he said to BE LOUD, he said it helps attracts attention (and therefore getting you a bigger crowd which = more money)
