NO....They are there to spend money, not give it to you....they want to shop and not have you ask to show a trick, well they have an arm full of bags.

go to the library and do tricks to the old people reading newspapers...its great! lol and do it to anyone else in the library

i say go to the mall i went and got huge reactions. hardly anyone has there hands full mostly every one just looks around. i go to the places that sell food not walk in stores but the ones in the halls. if people are there they mustnot be in that big of a hurry.the first couple times i was very nervous because i walked up to 2 big thugs about 19&20 and im only 14 plus im only 4 foot ten (i look like 12) when i said can i show you somthin they thought i wanted to cause trouble but then i whipped out a deck of cards and didd 2card monte. even know i did the easyist trick i know them thugs where laphin like they where little kids and they begged me to tell them HOW i did it. well anyways i guess im just sayin do magic where people least expect it excluding the library.-LOL-

Check out hospitals with childrens ward. Or nursing homes, these people love anything that you do for them...it maybe free...but you are learning people skills and will be alot easier to talk to people when you get comfortable. Some of these kids are terminally ill...some older folk have no one to visit them and you will be more than welcome to show them. If things work out good, maybe charge alittle after the first few trys (at nursing homes), get ahold of the volunter coordanator and ask about coming free the first time..then maybe charge alittle later on.
