Hi, I just ordered "color monte" and i'm wondering if there is anything i should learn before getting it. Thx.

Nothing really. If I were to tell you here it would be exposure. Believe me. Just read the instructions 50x and watch the demo video 50x. You'll get it soon enough.. I did.

Guys. I read the topic on color monte, and I downloaded the demo movie to see what's with the trick. :wink:

Till now, nothing special, BUT, after watching it like 5 times, I figured out how it's done!

Hope you're not mad... :oops:

So, no need to watch it like 50x times.
That happened yesterday, and I already tricked a lot of people.

Anyway, I have a little question.

I say the story like in the movie, not actually let the volunteer guess where is the card, isn't it? And, I don't make him pay. :?:

Another thing. If I didn't bought anything until now from HERE, but know some tricks, why can't I go in penguins only

You can't get into Penguin's Only just because you know the secret to how a trick works....you only get access for the the tricks you purchase from Penguin.

Just realize that you only get access to Penguins Only for the tricks you purchase, not everything. So if you don't buy Color Monte from Penguin, you will not have access to that effect.

Yes, that is correct. The trick as it is presented is from the viewpoint of what happened to you and how you were duped. You don't make him pay. Of course, you could present it any way you like! I just like the idea of it being me as the one fooled in the story, even though I'm doing all the 'fooling' that was supposedly done to me by someone else. It's kind of a neat little twist!

To answer your question, chris_deguzman_523, you really don't need to learn anything before recieving it. Just remember to practice it a LOT before showing it to friends/audience. Just by seeing your spectator's reaction, you will know if you performed it well. Also, read the directions carefully. If you are having difficulties, go to the Penguins Only section. You will find the answers to your questions there. Ryan

Rlk7 is right. Practice until you have it down and you can do it with complete confidence. I love this trick. Because when you go through the routine with no weird moves or anything and then hit them with the end they won't see it coming. It's so great.
