Please post the worst tricks you have bought and why? My Top five:

1. Balduchi levi (everyone has seen this!!!!) but Wild levi is goooooD! I once paid $30 FOR THIS and later people were just about giving it away!
2. Reality Twister ( Looks way to gimmicky)
3. Kiss the magician (c'mon this looks like reprinted 1920 corn ball stuff)
4. Appearing candel (Geeesh willing give mine away)
5. Thought transmitter ( Too expensive/bulky/not inspectable for what you get!)

The worst trick I bought was the Fantasio Appearing Cane. Not that the effect in itself is bad; it's actually quite effective when done on stage away from your audience. My only gripe with it is the shoddy worksmanship. I bought this for a college play I was in (The Magician's Nephew) and after 2 or 3 weeks of use the cane wasn't so stiff anymore. It's now been about 3 or 4 months since the play and, without having used it much at all, I find it pretty difficult to keep the darn thing from wobbling all around like a limp noodle. The point is, I would reccomend this trick for like a one shot deal. Anything more than that and it is pretty well crap.

So, I assume the mindpower deck is overrated? lol
I am glad you said that because I was thinking about buy it.....pretty much just to know how it is done, but, it doesn't seem like the purchase is even worth that, lol.

yeah, it is a waste of $30, but the Practical Mental Magic book by Theodore Annemann, is well worth 200 - 300 bucks alone, but Penguin sells it for Only $9.65 . I got it and have enough in there to amaze audiences until im dead :) which living on the west side of south compton, looks like it could be soon.
