how can you get people to give you money obviously youre not just going to ask for it.

Put out a Tip Cup with a sign on it that says "Tips".

Or you could have the cup say "Tips GREATLY Appreciated"

Do pen through dollar. I did it with this one guy who let me use his 5 dollar bill. And at the end he told me to go out and reward myself. lol..

Where a badge that says "Tips Appreciated" Or, like the above poster, many times when doing good magic for money, tailor your conversation to get a bill of $5 or more...usually they'll let you keep it.

Speaking of tip cups... A local sandwich shop has one of those hideous clay cow coffee mugs on their counter with a little sign that says.. "Tipping isn't just for cows anymore". I laugh to myself every time I see it.

actually if you're on the street there's no problem with asking for it. As you've got a crowd keep building up a big trick at the end and thensomehwere in the middle of your routine put out a hat and just say something clever like you've done a greatjob or something to that effect and ppl will know what to do as you go around with the hat.

Listen i to was wondering how to get some green doing magic here's what i have come up with:street magic is starting to die out no onw will give you money on the street alot of people don't even notice magicians but if this is the route you want be as loud as you can.Don't go to them have them come to you.Also you really can't make alot of money just doing street magic get your paws into close-up stuff and sankey stuff if you want to get paid you need and "arsenal of tricks" , practice them alot, build an eleborate routine, then just go for it if they want you to levitate don't question it "do it" even if you "mess up" if you are doing it for strangers your credibility can't go down.Just go do some free gigs somewhere and hand your cards out(bussiness cards) ~Roboboy P.S. good luck i am going up this alley as well
