Hi, I want to do street magic but it seems like David blaine has done most of the good street magic effects already. Can you huys recommend any good street magic effects DB hasnt done yet? The ones I have so far is, M5 system, pen thru anything, and out of sight out of mind, all my other effects have been done by DB Already. What about carpenters NightMare? Anways if you could recomend any good effects db hasn't done that doesnt use Magical looking items(Like having to cover the coins with a brass cup or something) I would greatly apreciate it.

Filter through all the catagories on the front page (Close Up, Coins, Cards, etc.) I'm sure you'll find something that strikes your fancy. Penguin has lots to offer, just take a look around.

I fyou wanna just go around and mess with ppl then yeah DB has done most of'em but if you want to actually make money out there then there's tons to choose from. Try stuff with ropes, buy a deck of cards and a good card video and any thing impromptu will also work. I htink they sell Greg Wilson's videos here, those are always great.

Also, don't overlook books and videos. I know you're reading this thinking, "what can you do with books," but there are more tricks than you'd think that are just as amazing with a normal deck. And, usually, books have one major jewel in them that pays for itself. Remember, magicians aren't great because they have all the gimmicks. They are great because their tricks are great, and I think books and videos have a lot to offer. Dan

Hi, i assume you learned out of sight out of mind from ellusionist crash course video. But i would highly reccomend getting some vidoes even if they don't say "street magic on thm street magic is basically close-up magic on the "streets". But street magic id dying out or so it seems to me close-up is the best way to go because not alot of people want to see "street magic" they've seen blaine do it and at least to me it doesn't look convincing. ~Roboboy
