They were a little too harsh. If only kids have fallen for it you do need a little mroe practise I have to say. But don't get discouraged when you mess up b/c it's sooooo easy to mess up if you don't have the angles just right. I'm sure anyone here who regularly attempts this effect has had plenty of embarassing occasions when everyone accidentaly sees how it's done.

And i think you are a pretty smart guy dan, especially considering the fast that you didnt notice the "heh" at the end of what i said when i should market them. This usually means the person is just kidding, or joking around. You know, not serious? Do you get what i mean or should i explain it more? Oh and sorry i missed your post on the hole in the shoe thing. a simple misunderstanding.

exactly....the angles are just tooweird for you right now.....practice in front of a mirror. what i do is take 5 full steps away from them.

and when u r steppin away from them u should make up a story like if u get to close u will get vibes and u will start levitating when u dont want to...lol
