TITLE and Creator: Under Pressure by Jay Sankey

Effect: Two coins are borrowed (a quarter and a penny) and are magically fused together in front of the spectators eyes. The coins are then separated and passed out for examination.

Price: $22.99 ($19.99 + $3 postage/handling)

Teaching: This comes with a small piece of paper that has instructions on both the front and back. They are very clear however I used them in conjunction to the demo video Jay had on his channel to really get this down (unfortunately he removed the video so you may want to contact him about that)

Quality of materials(if it is a gimmik etc): High quality gimmick. Jay made it so that the dates of both coins are covered up so you don't have to worry about them matching the borrowed coins. This is a great feature because often the spectator tries to see if they are the same coins or not.

Difficulty: There are several different versions that Jay teaches, all which require basic SOH. After about a week of serious practice you'll be performing this in no time.

Applications: Perfect for restaurant/bar magic, walk-around/strolling magic, street magic, or closeup magic

Overall Rating: I would give this a 9/10. The teaching and gimmick is phenomenal, however I would have preferred a DVD (or at least and instant download) to go along with the gimmick because of the price. Here is a link to one of my performances of it. As far as I know, now that Jay removed the video, this is the only live footage of this trick in action.

I contacted him about two months ago to see if he had any left and he did... about a few weeks ago he mentioned in his newsletter that he had a few left so I grabbed one while I had the chance.

It seems like this was a better deal than Mike Rubinstein's

Yeah Mike released this about 2 and a half years, probably more than Jay and he realized it after production. Mike's comes with a DVD but I think it's only about 10 minutes long lol.
