I performed this for my scholarship in a room full of about 100+ people. People were cheering my name after my performance of this.


Effect: You take however many cups and a nail on a coaster and place the nail under a cup and have the spectator mix around the cups to their hearts content. You smash every cup until there is one left. That one cup contains that deadly nail.

Teaching: Matthew Mello has a great teaching style. He seems very laid back but he's not boring. He makes sure that you know what you are doing and don't act stupid. You CAN screw this up if you are not careful. When you are aware you can be safe but there always mishaps..just go on youtube.

Quality of materials: You make the nail and coaster yourself, easy construction took me...literally 20 seconds. Stryofoam cups work great

Difficulty: This effect is not difficult. You just need to know what you are doing and pay attention. You can turn your back there are no magnets, peeking, Forcing. Any object can be used.

Applications|experience: This can be used in street settings or on Stage. When I did this on stage it was the best thing ever. I had the audience pick somebody to come up. I used his "muscle movements" to locate the nail. After each cup you can hear the whole audience OOhhing Awwing. After a couple cups..an applause..then..slowly hovering my hand over the last 2 cups.. BAM..Screams come out from the crowd. I tear open the last cup and the audience goes wild!

Overall Rating:A 10/10 a perfect solution for a impromptu and safe Russian Roulette effect. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
