I know I'm late on the scene with these cards, but I got them today and loved them so much I felt the need to review them.

First of all I picked them up after watching Matt Sconce's Spin. I won't give away the effect there, but Prestiges are great for the effect. I did some searching and found them at Wal-Mart and got a discount because the case they came in was cracked. So I brought them home and wow I'm overly impressed.

First they're 100% plastic. I usually avoid these cards because my only exposure so far to them are clear Bike's. They're usually too slippery. However, the Prestiges mostly have this problem solved. They still slip a bit but not nearly as much as other plastic cards have.

Being plastic they're durable and can take a lot of moves. However they handle very closely to the way a paper deck does. As I said they aren't too slippery, and have a feel that's similar to the air-cushioned finish on rider backs. The first sleight I tried with them was a trusty DL. It went better than my normal DLs. In fact almost every sleight I've tried has gone better with these cards then with my rider backs, and I love rider backs.

Also the design looks great. They really do have a prestigious look to them. They appear to have a bit of class and edginess in their design which is great for professional work.

Overall I give them a 9/10 and the deduction is only because they still slip a bit more than I like. But they handle great and will last a lot longer than a standard paper deck.
