Major App Update!

My latest iPhone App update to "No Freakin' Way/ NFW 2.0" is now available on iTunes.

-added scrolling screens
-new detailed help screen
-option to change suit order
-face lift to scanning screen
-new default screens
-option to turn off start-up screen

the new update is really buggy for me.

The screenshot is now weird like its not 1:1 scale its liek huge. I only see 4 icons on screen.

Also now screen animation sometimes doesnt show as the cards a flicking through and the animation on the finger scanner is weird doesnt animate all the time.

Also i dont know about text that says "Concentrate". I feel it was more elegant the way it was before, just simple monotonous green scanner that was obvious that it was scanning your finger. Now that it says "Concentrate" makes it seem more like a novelty app than really scanning the finger.

The app was great before, perfectly functioning. And now it doesnt work at all!!!!!!!!! i wish i didnt update, can you fix this?

Just wanted to say i've removed the app then re installed it and re set it up. And its working now. Though there still is the occasional screen freeze during the animation of the scanning part.

Glad you got it working. The word concentrate is used so that the finger scan has some meaning as to what the scan is doing. And the animation should not freeze unless you are very low on memory perhaps. Keep me posted after you have used it a bit. Thank you!

Just got the update on Carl Andrews 'No Freakin' Way'----it makes the best iPhone trick even better!

I"m still having the animation freeze on occasion. Not just the scanner part but the card flicking part as well. Its just sometimes and even when i dont have anything else running. Hmmm but its usable.

I should also note that i do love this app.

I have used it in 2 of my last 3 paying gigs (in conjunction with a marked deck). Also use it every time i do magic and not being paid. Great fun.

Glad you love the App and use it! I am curious about your freezing as I have not heard that from anyone else. What device and iOS are you using? I have tested it on most and it runs great on my iPhone 4 and my 2nd Generation iPod Touch both running iOS4. It also ran great on the simulator all the way back to iOS 3.1. More info on your system may be helpful in determining your problem. Thank you and thanks for your support!
