Both of these applications allow a spectator to think of a card, then your psychic friend reveals it on an answering machine. Requires an Apple device (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad) for either.

If I only had money to buy ONE, I'd choose iPredict because:

1) Can use the spec's phone
2) Comes with 35 minutes of video instruction
3) Has a business card template you can print out
4) Spec can watch your phone the entire time

But realistically, you can buy both for $8 so just do it ...

I just purchased MK and it is pretty cool. I bought it on my iPad and used it twice and I got to say it is pretty cool.

iPredict is interesting but has many setbacks:

1) The business card doesn't make sense to me. There is no need to use the iPhone if you have the business card and vice versa. If you use the spectator's phone, then your iPhone shouldn't come into play - assuming the business card is presented. If you use your phone, the business card shouldn't come into play.

2) The address of Esmeralda is from California, and a lot of people are uncomfortable calling a stranger, which is exaggerated because they're not local. Even if you change the address of the psychic in the device, many phones actually show what state you are calling, so if they don't match up...

3) To me, Esmeralda sounds like a recording. You can not customize the voice to a male or female, which limits the names your personal psychic can have. There are obviously language issues as well, in some cases.

4) You have to make a real call!

Mental Killer, however, solves all of those problems. You can use your own device (iPod Touch users unite!), and everything is customizable. I bought MK for $20, and it was worth it!

Akira/Jeff would Mental Killer work on a first gen iPod touch?

I'm using a first gen iPhone for both, so should be ok.
