This may look like an easy answer and say the Raven but i have heard things about magnets and i just looked at sterling hopping halves and it looked so cool, i am just getting into coins so 1) what would you recommend and 2) Which is harder, (it doesnt matter because I can put in the time and effort)

Harley,

Hopping halves is a VERY cool trick. Just one word of advice -

If you're going for Hopping Halves - go with the Johnson version - it's better looking and better quality.

The only drawback, is that the Johnson is more expensive. They sell the Sterling version on Penguin, which is pretty good - but if you're serious about the trick, I'd say the extra money is well worth the investment.

I reckon the Raven is better. You can vanish pretty much any small object you want.

And I also reckon Scotch and Soda is better than Hopping Halves, and it's cheaper as well!

well, the question you ask may be difficult to answer. both of those effects are pretty different from each other. to ask "which is better" is somewhat vague. it really depends on what type of effect you are looking for. the raven is an awesome vanish, while hopping halves is just great effect in and of itself. i guess both are really good. but again, it depends on what you want to do. you really can't go wrong with either one as far as i'm concerned.
