Steve Forte, without a doubt, the best card mechanic EVER.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=sbY9VA1riEM
Also, remember that trick with the 4 aces that Bill Malone did? the one where he uses a sealed deck that an audience member gave him?
It's truly that impromptu and it was invented by Steve Forte.

Dan and Dave?
They are very good at cutting cards, but we've never seen them do any gambling moves, so I assume they're not very good at it.

Brian Tudor has the best top palm I've ever seen, but that's the only thing he does better than other famous card mechanics...

Another good mechanic is Denis Behr, he is not as good as other card mechanics but he is pretty young and I believe that in a few years he will become just as good.

The method Bill uses is by Steve Forte.
Scarne never published his method, so Steve came up with his own way of doing it.

Gotta say Ricky Jay.

Perhaps not THE BEST card mechanic, but he is the best one that I have seen.

The origional idea and method was invented by scarne. But he never told ANYONE how it was done and took the secret to his grave. So steve forte invented a new method.

Oh, so Bill Malone in his presentation of the Scarne Ace trick, was lying!?! (No sarcasm intended, please.) So Bill didn't actually figure it out, he just used a similar method and took credit for figuring it out. I just lost some respect for Bill.

Still having trouble picking my jaw up from the floor. That center deal was mind boggling. How did he establish a break in the center on the four kings after the spectator squared?

Is that the Allen Kennedy center deal?

It's called Patter man. If he were to say "Scarne took the secret to the grave, then someone else named Steve Forte came up with his own method, and then taught it to me, so here I am to show it to you.", wouldn't sound near as good as his presentation he uses now.

Nothing about Bill Malones preformance on Scarnes Aces should make you lose respect for him, only sky rockett it.
