Also, remember that trick with the 4 aces that Bill Malone did? the one where he uses a sealed deck that an audience member gave him?
It's truly that impromptu and it was invented by Steve Forte.

Daniel,

I was wondering where you got your information regarding Steve Forte's involvement in Malone's version of Scarne's Aces?

It isn't true.

What Bill Malone did is Steve Forte's solution for Scarne's Aces, called No Look Aces.

Steve Forte is incredible. I don't know if he's the best ever, but he's definitely Top 3, easily.

The top three are probably Steve Forte, Darwin Ortiz, and Richard Turner (in no particular order)

thats because he used a block cover rather than a single card cover, which is less convincing.

i'd say richard turner, brian tudor, dan and dave.

michael ammar is pretty intense in this video as well.

The bucks are amazing with a deck of cards but could they fix a poker game?

Yeah it has to be Richard Turner... he is in London in the end of November if somebody want to see him BTW... but yeah. Bill Malone is not the best... he is great but not the best... his teacher and mentor was Marlo.. and Marlo learned him almost every thing he knew.. but still Richard Turner is the best living card guy. it´s funny that it had to be a blind guy xD yeah almost blind... he can´t see much.

Dan and Dave?
They are very good at cutting cards, but we've never seen them do any gambling moves, so I assume they're not very good at it.

Brian Tudor has the best top palm I've ever seen, but that's the only thing he does better than other famous card mechanics...

Another good mechanic is Denis Behr, he is not as good as other card mechanics but he is pretty young and I believe that in a few years he will become just as good.

Brian Tudor in my opinion doesn't have the best top palm in my opinion.
Bebel has.
Bebel is also the best mechanic that exists in my opinion.
The Buck twins are extremely good. But there is something that sets them apart from for example Bebel.
Bebel is the best at doing the hardest stuff that is also performable.( did that make sense?)

Here a video with PERFECT execution of every move.

That was really good.

But what about Helder Guimaraes? The reigning best card magician in the world (best card magician, FISM 2006). His card magic is really pretty and fun. And he is really smooth.

I'm actually planning on buying his dvd today. It's supposed to be really good.

Actually you are right.
My two favorite magician's are David Stone and Helder Guimaraes.
Wich maybe you are right, Helder is the best cardman in the world.
Benjamin Earl is also a very very good one.

Yea, I just recieved his dvd "Small Miracles" in the mail today and they are all stunning well routined master peices.

This was definately a good buy. If anyone is looking for some new card magic I'd suggest you pick this up (along with a special assortment deck and a blank face deck). Three of the nine routine's use gaffed cards to help accomplish the magic. I will probably write up a fuller review in the review section sometime soon.

By the way, I would have to agree with you on Helder AND David being in my top five favorites (along with David williamson gregory wilson and.... well, the list fluxuates from time to time hahaha).

We're talking about card mechanics not magicians
