I'm in search of a trick that uses a card that has been mercury card folded. I'm not nessecarily looking for a name of a trick or a method, just an idea that I can make my own method/routine for. Why you may ask? B/c I want a use for all these cards that I have practiced the fold with!

I'm not looking for an effect that the card gets folded, rather an effect that utilizes a card already folded

You could just make a lot of card from (matchbox, fruit, pick your favorite location) gimmicks.

Aldo Colombini has a hilarious "opener" which involves a bag of folded cards; that's where a lot of my "practice cards" ended up. I believe it's called "Prediction," from volume 1 of his Lasting Impressions set.

Put the folded card inside a plastic egg.
Tape up the egg and put it inside a rubber chicken
You know have a nice card to impossible location routine that can get lots of laughts and as the person inspects the chicken, you can easily do the dirty work.
There is a youtube video but the guy signed his own card.
I liked the premis of the routine, but not the signing your own card plot.
