I have recently seen Scarne's Aces performed by Bill Malone and was very interested in how to perform the trick. I did some research and learned that Scarne took the trick to his grave, but that it was rediscovered by Bill Malone. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a place to purchase and learn this trick. I'm not asking for any reveals just if someone could point me in the right direction.

First of all, this was probably the best forum to write this in, but regardless of which forum you used, one would have been enough. Multiple postings in different forums make it more confusing to keep up with who said what and where (and are against the rules).

And to answer your question, try looking at this and this.

Damian Neiman teaches a version on his DVD Fast Company. His handling was one of my inspirations on mine.

The moves on that looked great. I'll have to look into that one. The patter needs some work. It seemed to slow down an otherwise very fluid trick.

BTW while I was watching I checked out your youtube page and saw your bullet catch with a paintball gun...Loved it! Is that original?

No, it's Scott Alexander's Velocity.

That's not the presentation I generally use. I've never really been a fan of telling this type of story when performing something this clean and I don't really feel comfortable talking to myself and a camera. Much more comfortable working for real people. No pauses then, I can cover a pause with audience interaction. I was basically making this one up as I go along. My Card Control video is more like the handling I use with real people.

I understand that. It's hard to patter with no one to patter to. I preferred the first one. "Hit the Road" has a three ace version of this but I think it is performance only.

And thanks for the info on the Jason Alexander effect. Next time I have $800 lying around I'll pick it up.

Here's a link for the full video in better quality, although the only downside is that the screen is smaller: http://streetmagic.info/labels/john%20scarne.html
