Hi
I've been using the top change a lot lately and I feel like I'm doing something wrong;
When I do the switch I always hear a little noise, even if I do it really slow.
Nobody seems to notice it but it just feels weird, like I'm building on my spectators to not be observant enough to catch me.
What do I do?

Try PULLING (as in you just did the top change and you are pulling out the second card) the card out very gently so that it will stay at the same angle as the top card. After you do that a few times, and you got the feel of the angle it should be try doing it faster and adjusting the angle with your wrist.

Sorry if this is exposure.

I believe the Hittop Change from Marlo Without Tears might solve your problem. It incorporates a flicking of the card, which could be used to cover the unwanted noise.

That's like the Hofzinser style. If you're having an issue with noise, it's probably because you need to keep the cards more level with each other. If the cards aren't lined up, they're going to snap off of each other. Loosen the grip to the point that the single card is barely held between your fingers and keep the top of the pack even with the single card.

You might also practice some second deals.

Pushoff style, though. The technique of the take itself has a lot in common with the Top Change.
