Hi guys,

After I receive new bikes I open them and take of the sticker with the ace of spades. However I find that there are a lot of sticky stuff left on the box. It doesn't get off if I "apply" and take of the sticker a few times more.

So my question is. I want to have a CLEAN cardbox (completely rid of the sticker). How to get the sticky stuff off after removing the sticker with the ace of spades?

Kind regards,

Mikkel

Use a knife or a fingernail (preferably still attached to a finger)

May I ask if you need it clean for a trick, or just because you can?

How to remove the sticker?
I'm guessing you are new to this then.
Today you are in luck,
I have been working with cards for over a decade now so I am more than qualified to answer your post.
You are doing it wrong
You are supposed to leave the sticker on the box like this
Image

This is how the pro's do it
If you want to be cool you are gonna have to do this from now on,
Only n00bs take the sticker completely off
If you think a little you will find out that the glue is always gonna stay there
regarless of you take the sticker off.
So leave it on like a pro,
Now being a pro is gonna be harder
You will need Generation Xtreme to be at that level.

Goo Gone is pretty powerful stuff. It also stains paper due to the oil content. Try http://www.un-du.net instead. Since this product doesn't permanently dissolve the adhesive, it has an added advantage of leaving the adhesive intact on the seal after the solution evaporates. I'll leave you to think about the possibilities...

Why the [edited] is this guy not banned. Like seriously, is there not enough evidence that he does not add ANYTHING to the forums and just causes problems?

AGREED! This is getting ridiculous

Do what I do when I see posts like this. Ignore him. When he does something more than just being a mere annoyance, we'll take care of him more permanently. Some may even argue that posting complaints about other members is equally unproductive... which is why I'm going to go ahead and delete your complaint posts after quoting it here for future reference.

This is what I do. I get a short piece of masking tape about 3 inches long. Then I lightly press it on the left over adhesive on the box, and then pull it off somewhat sharply. Not enough to tear the box but just enough that the left over adhesive will come off with it. Just repeat the process until it’s all removed. You may need to use a few pieces of tape during. It will not take long at all.

Hiya, just glancing through, and saw a couple of your posts. Don't know if I qualify as a pro, but I was a card mechanic for the better part of 40 years. Most of everything I did, I had to do it correctly, or get hurt and not eat and sleep. Needless to say, I survived on being good. Kind of like the "lion in the jungle opposed to the lion in the zoo".. the lion in the jungle had to be bad or he and he family will not survive. Whereas, the lion in the zoo can growl, do this and that, but that lion is going to get three square meals and shelter everyday no matter what. ;)

With that said, I don't understand what the OP is talking about. I could always unsealed and seal broads(decks of cards)back up with no trace of tampering. I used steam, razor blades, and a hot iron..
