Hey, I ran a search for the "Anything Deck" (Art of Astonishment vol 3) but couldn't find anything about it, and I would appreciate a little assistance from someone else who also owns AoA vol 3.

Here's my problem. At step 10 when I try to spell the word out normally (R-O-S-E) as advised by the instructions, when I later fan the packet at step 15 the word appears reversed. The only way I found to fix that was to spell the word backwards in step 10　(E-S-O-R): something that I find particularly difficult if the word's longer than 4 letters long. I'm sure I'm missing something but for the life of me cannot figure it out. Someone help please?

I do not know the trick, but when you spell the word "ROSE" do you count the cards to the table? If so, you might be counting them and reversing the order (you said that the word is found later as ESOR). Maybe you shouid try a nonreverseing countm a count that doesn't change the order of the cards. Hope it helps

Yeah, I do count out the cards onto the table, but that's what the instructions said to do! That's why I'm confused. But thanks anyway, I appreciate the reply. If nobody can help me I'll probably try to workshop it myself, probably by counting it out onto the top of the deck first before ploping the whole lot onto the table, or by doing a reverse count near the end.

Look at the directions, and whether you're dealing them face up or down....
