does anyone know of any good remedies for making your cards slide off of one another better. I just got the wild card trick and my df cards do not slide well. The trick would work so much better if I could get the cards to glide easier. Any helo would be greatly appreciated.

I agree 100% on the advice on getting new cards.

In all my gambling actions, new cards was my ally. First off, new cards gave me more confidence that I would be successful.

Also, right there with the cards sliding better is the CONDITION OF THE HANDS too.. The cleaner your hands, the better you can perform with the cards. Every so often, I would get up from the table, and go wash my hands. One more condition too, prespiration!!

When I had to do a hard move in front of a lot of people, sometimes my hands would prespire. I had to be acutely aware of how much prespiration I could work with. If too much, I would cancel the move. In my later years, the nerves settled down, and the pressure of excuting in front of the lot of knowing people was second nature.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all your advice. I talked to the guy who sold me the carrds and he's giving me a new packet that he said has a nice finish and works really well. Lets hope I can add this trick to my arsenal soon.

If it's a normal deck, you can try fanning powder. Alternatively, if it's just a small packet of cards, polish the faces of the cards with a silk: it should make everything smoother.

Well if you sprinkle some of this:

on your cards they'll be more slippery than you can probably handle.

The gimmick is a bag of powder that makes the cards slippery

My favorite way to make my cards slide better (as a complete deck) is to alternate springing them, then faro shuffling them, then springing, then springing them face-up, then faro suffling again. It makes old decks fan perfectly and gives them their smooth feel back.

Sorry to hear it. Basically, you just really want to give them a good beating. Also, I know it doesn't fix it for now, but I recommend you get some bicycle eco-friendly edition cards. I've had them for 3 months now, handling them everyday, and they're still really good.
