As of today this has 13 RAVING reviews on Penguin and all have given it 5 STARS.

I know it's an amazing effect but I was wondering if anyone has any performance stories to share.

I got quite a few PM's on YouTube that said it was exactly the same as Insane by Andy Nyman. It's not?

Learn a bottom deal.....save you $45....of course it will take you two years before you can perform it!

No kidding! Actually by learning the bottom deal, it will save you $45 plus all of the the other amounts spent on gimmicked versions during the time it takes to put in practice to perfect it.

Larry Jennings did a bunch on magical bottoms and seconds. Some of that can be found in Allen Ackerman's Advance Card Control series.....Of course now you are spending $25.00 to learn some good seconds and bottoms that will take you a long time to perfect. So....nevermind....just get X-act! lol

I have performed X-Act numerous times since receiving it in early December, for individuals, small crowds, and groups up to 25. It has left spectators stunned at every performance. I posted one for the reviews, and the effect is just as I described. It can be learned and performed within a day, the operation is effortless. -- Andy Hofer, Ossining, New York

I recently received this and with minimal practice, went live with it at the Pub I perform at. It has gone over great with excellent reactions. I am sure there are other ways to perform CAAN but this is simplistic and easy!

Thank You all for the replies. With such a gimmicked effect what other routines do you imagine could be performed with this? I'm thinking along the lines of (seemingly) being able to produce named groups of cards such as all of the jacks, queens kings, aces, etc. or a straight flush in any suit.

With some thought and proper preparation you may be able to accomplish it. Showing the cards as you deal to their number may be problematic though.
