Does anybody know how to do the move in NFW? I bought the trick and I didn't get how to do it.

P.S. I didn't buy it from here, so I can't go in the penguins only section to learn.

Get ready to "get the business" from this group. They don't take kindly to these kind of questions. :P

Js, If you didn't receive the "how-to" from where you purchased NFW, go to them. Hopefully their customer service is as good as Penguin's. (although that is doubtful).

Agreed, you are asking how to do a certain effect (trick) which is exposure, sorry but it is not allowed here. Take the recommendation from above, contact whomever you bought the trick from and tell them you did not get instructions. Otherwise you are out of luck here. 8)

Hey guys, give him a break. It doesn't sound like he's necessarily asking for a secret...just a "move". He's admitted he didn't buy it from Penguin and doesn't have access to PO. Sounds like all he needs is to learn the Elmsley Count. You could have recommended that he do a search on google or something for learning the Elmsley count....that's not a secret is it?

Hey, Im not answering any questions like this. Anyone with a brain who wanted to learn the trick could easily ask it in a way like this (not accusing anyone, Im just being real). Honestly, its the stupid ones who come on hear blatantly asking how to do stuff. Just dumb.

Anyway, if the guy really wants to learn, he will...and will be better for it. The instructions to the trick are not terrible, and if he's having a problem he can go back to where he bought it for better instruction (most magic shops do that as a courtesy). It can be learned without having it exposed all over the boards...and he will appreciate more when he gets it.

Man that's harsh B_!.....I was under the impression we were here to be helpful!

I looked at it this way....he only has 2 posts...he may be new to magic...I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt...the guy is apparently having trouble with the "move", which is the Elmsley Count. It's not like he asked for the whole secret to the trick.

Lots of people want to learn, that's why they ask questions in the first place. But sometimes they need a little help to steer them in the right direction.

We can still be helpful without having to devulge secrets can't we?

jslavens - you aren't by any chance from SA are you, cos I know that one of the local "shops" sells it without proper instructions (don't get me started on that subject).
If thats the case then do as Frijid suggested & look up on google, thats what I did (that & watch & re-watch & re-watch Oz preform it)

I wouldn't call the move in NFW an "Elmsley count". You may be able to use an Elmsley count-like move to pull it off, but it would be very difficult to do.

Jslavens, drop me an e-mail at glanderm@aol.com and I'll let you know what the move should look like. If I post it here, they'll probably edit it.

If you wouldn't call the move in NFW an Elmsley Count, what would you call it? I don't know about your instructions but mine recommend the Elmsley Count.

Ok maybe I might of been a little rash, but there has been a lot of asking for "how to do this trick" etc lately. Also the elmsley count is recommended in the instructions which came with my NFW, Oz does a 2 for 4 count in his demo of it. ( The only reason I know this is I asked him what count he used)

The magic shop near me sells both NFW and a trick called Marked Again by Jerry Somerdin. The magicians at teh store told me that the tricks were similar and showed me both and I chose to buy Marked Again (liked teh effect better). Anways , Jslavens, to help you I to have trouble with the move involved in the trick due to the gimmick involved (I think the same gimick in NFW. I'll PM you with it). What I did is make my own routine with the cards and try to work around the gimmick problem. Hopw that helps. :D
