My favorite right now is the Cros Twist. It's so simple yet so astonishing.

I like killer b and cross twist for neat color surprises. Without that, I like ambitious routine and card vanishes.

My favorite wallet (or packet) trick is still NFW.

Color montie comes up in a close second.

My favorite trick using a standard deck with no preperation is a trick I learned when I was 10, I don't even know what the trick is called. After doing the trick for 28 years, it still blows people away, no matter how many times they have seen it. Just don't know what it is called.

Packet tricks: Twisted Sisters (Mentalism) and Airtight
Tricks with a normal deck: Favorite is Ambitious Card, Cross twist (AoA) followed up by 3-card monte, Magnet card, Card to Pocket and Paperclipped (Sankey vol 3). I also like the Invisible Rising Card (AoA) which is almost like the invisible deck, just with a regular Deck of cards.

I like Vernon's Twisting the Aces and Triumph, a 3-Card Monte routine, and an Ambitious Card routine.

Some of you were talking about the Stars of Magic book. That is an excellent book for slieght of hand. It was one of the first books I learned card and coin sleights from. Triumph was first published in Stars, as was Slydini's Paper Balls over the Head routine (recently popularized by Greg Wilson's On the Spot video). Vernon's Cutting the Aces is a classic effect that I always like to do. It's nice to see other people who like that book.

After i got the Dark card, i could use it any time i want during any routines. It really amazes the crowd when their selected card disappear from the deck and appear somewhere else! The handling is rather clean and effortless for the magician. That's my favourite.

Found this on card trick central and have been practicing but the instructions leave much to be desired.

I personlly like "killer B" which is believe is very similar to 8 card brainwave.

Renegade is pretty cool but doesn't have the punch that other tricks doo.

Snap change is great if done right.

Mambo #5 will take me a long time to get the whole routine down but given that you learn many different card vanishes you can put it to work right away with those that you've learned.

Ultimate 3 card is on the way; been watching the PO video and it looks to be killer if done convincingly.

Dr. Daley's Last Trick that I learned from on the loose has replaced the two card monte for me. They're kind of similar effects and Doc Daley's trick seems more like magic as opposed to the two card monte where it seems like they just have quick hands.
