To all those who studied RRTCM from start to finish:

How long did it take you to study the book and become proficient at the sleights?

I was in a good spending mood today and picked up RRTCM, Erdnase's Expert at the Card Table, and Hugard's Expert Card Technique (although I am quite aware I need to get through RRTCM first). It feels good to finally get my hands on these classics.

Nice selection brother.
I'v had RRTCM for about 3 weeks and am about 1/2 way through. looking forward to getting into ECT.
I'v read most of Erdnase's book, & it is fairly good, but I'd say that the other 2 are better written & illustrated

Everything in this book is great. You just can't go wrong with it.

I have had it for about 2 months but am only about 4 chapters into it. Not much time, but when I did have a break I would work for a week on one or two topics. I know how to do most of the sleights in it, but want to refine them plus the tricks are good to have in your arsenal. Not that you have to do every one, but for impromptu settings etc... 8)
