I am getting in to a paket trick phase right now. I have been working on Reset and a few four ace routines. What are some other popular packet tricks you know?

I use the princess trick and 8 card brainwave when I'm barhopping. I love packet tricks that reset themselves.

Twisting the Aces and Ultimate 3 Card Monte are good packet tricks, along with Reset as you have already mentioned.

    Color Monte
    reset
    revolver
Greg Wilson's version of Dr. Daley's last Trick called Weighted Aces
    Cros Twist
Greg Wilson's version of Darwin Ortiz's Jumping Gemini called The Four Card Trick

I think I have pretty much stopped using gimmicked cards, at least most of the time.

Twins by Bro. John Hamman. It's a little hard to describe this effect. You show that you have only four cards, except that four change identity to suit a story about the Kings and Queens. This trick is taught on Ammar's ETMCM Vol. 3. It's also in Bro. John Hamman's book and video.

I once saw a magician at a restaurant do Twins with clear (except for the suit and values) plastic cards. I guess the idea was that you could see that he wasn't hiding anything. I feel a little weird when I'm in that kind of situation. I knew how his effects were performed, but I wasn't going to say, "Oh, I know that one". But I would feel disingenuous if I acted all amazed, either. I did enjoy his performance, though, and tried to convey that.

color monte is a good one, and I have one that I made up with a few false counts and other simple sleights.

I know you said you like ungimmicked cards, but you can't go wrong with Skinner's Ultimate 3 Card Monte. If you take the time to learn the switch at the end, you can end clean.

Color Monte is very good too, everything is examinable at the end with no switches.
