Rumor has it that Michael Ammar may be shooting a new series of Easy to Master Card Miracles Dvds - volumes 7 to 9 - this coming fall... Like I said, this is a rumor but it may have some truth behind it. I will investigate further, and if I find out anything more I will let you know.

LeConte is supposed to meet up with Ammar at a convention soon and he said he would ask if the rumor was true. I've also heard it from various places.

At the other forum where people sit at the Cafe and talk about magic, they are talking about what tricks should be on Volumes 7-9. I guess they are already getting ready for them...

That would be really cool even though I don't have any of the other volumes yet.

Lol, just say the place where they drink coffee so the reference is a little more inconspicuous, but yes they are talking about it there.

Yeah, that's true, I don't understand why we can't just post the link anyways, since it is not Non-Penguin Marketing.

yeah you should be able to just say it because there is just some stuff there that you can't find here. Then again, they do also have a lot of links to other magic websites, but one of them is Penguin...

Michael Ammar performed at the Houdini Days event in Appleton. Although I missed most of his close-up show (conveniently, all the tall people stood up front), I got a chance to speak with him afterwards. It was great because he didn't talk down to me. Just a nice casual talk about magic. He seems like a very down-to-earth guy.

At any rate, I asked him about the rumor of ETMCM 7-9. He told me that it was true. In fact, he just recently had finished the taping for it, and he thought it went very well. I probably should have asked him for a hint about what tricks would be on the series, but I didn't want to make a pest of myself. He said that new volumes were scheduled to come out around next May.

I saw Ammar lecture 2 weeks ago in San Francisco and talked to him afterwords. He is very humble, nice and all around cool. He has finished the shoot, so I can also confirm the rumers. He expected that the DVD's would come out next spring/summer, however, so don't look for them too soon. It's up to L&L at this point. He mentioned that the tricks were new handlings for many neo-classics. I did not want to pry to much with my questions, but he wanted the stuff to be really good/strong in case this was it for the series. I got the feeling that the material will be his refinements on the work of others. I'm sure it will include proper credits and permission.

I hope it doesn't come out for a few more months, I am getting ready to buy 1 to 3 here shortly. I already feel I am behind the power curve on this series LOL!
