While I was camping this weekend I purchased some super cheap cards. I'm talking so cheap, that there's no varnish on the faces of the cards. The cool thing about these cards though, is that I can back palm them no problem, and never have any bit of card sticking out the front between my bony fingers. But because they're so cheap, they don't look very presentable. The backs of the cards have printing errors on them (huge globs of ink that fell through the press) that turn out like blue dots where they shouldn't be. Anyway, what I'm getting at is: can anyone reccomend a decent deck of cards from a semi-reputable company that can be easily back palmed?

Try a deck of Manipulation Cards. They are made by various companies, including Duffy and Nielsen. A deck can run about $10. The features they have are four indices, flesh-colored back, no border, and they are very thin (about 1/3 the thickness of a regular deck).

i heard that cheap cards work better for back palming too

I haven't had a problem with back palming Bicycle cards. The more you wear out the card i better they will bend. Just experiment with them and you will find an answer.
