Favorite trick: at the moment has to be "Righting a Wrong" where the spectator selects a card & you fail to find it twice only to find that it's bn in plain sight for most of the trick

You will learn the basics of Card Magic from RRTCM. Taking you from an absolute beginner to intermediate level. The tricks in it are very good, eventho the patter is painfully out of date (it was written a long long time ago).

My favorite trick is 'Design for Laughter'.

All said above is very correct. My favourite trick and probably one of the only ones I use from it anymore is now you see it!

OoOoOoOo La La Royal Road To Card Magic, this was my very first book on magic over 20 years ago, (it's been revised since then) when I got this book and studied it for about 8 months, I was an intermediate card man, and dazzling several people. The book is probably the most highly regarded book on card magic of all time, every cardician to date has read this at one point or another, although i believe card college will take it's place. For the price though, you can't go wrong, You learn enough sleights to last you a lifetime, and once you learn them, you never forget them, it's like riding a bike, you can put a deck down for 2 years, come back and be right back in the groove. Even though i've been doing magic as a job for over 20 years now, I do still use some of the tricks out of this book from time to time, Obliging aces, gary's spelling trick, and Poker player's picnic being the main ones I use out ofthis book if i'm walking around having fun in a club or something. I also do an old version of le paul's torn and restored card, which is very very good!
