Ok, after years of doing slights, I've decided to finally learn the pass.

What's the best source for learning it? Whether it's a book or video doesn't really matter. I've found that a clear explanation in any form is the best way I learn.

I've seen two DVDs that have piqued my interest: Kaufman's "On the Pass" and Cassford's "Pass with care."

Any opinions on these two? Any others that should be considered? Any good books on the Pass?

Thanks for any help!

On the Pass by Richard Kaufman
"The Pass" by Ken Krenzel
The Pass video by Brad Burt
Gary Oullet's "The Pass"
Ninja 1 (I don't really recommend getting this one, but if you need a few extra tips on the pass, go for it)
Pass with Care DVD

I found "The Pass" by Ken Krenzel to be the most useful of all.

the ninja videos are way overpriced and for lack of a better word suck.

I say go with either: "The Pass" by Ken Krenzel or on the pass.

Go to Lybrary.com an in the upper left corner you will find a demo of the E-books Chris sells on the sight, the demo is an excerpt from ETC & deals with the Invisible turn over pass

WOW. Finally, peeps are starting to loosen up those P.C. tongues a bit.
I think Ninja 2 is a very good vid - as do the reviews of it (they all didn't like the first one, however) but yes it WAY overpriced.
I prolly shouldn't even have continued this discussion being it's not very nice (according to them) to talk about another websites products on these forums...

I disagree. While the videos may seem overpriced, the information you gain in there is incredible. I agree slightly with you that perhaps Ninja 1 was a disappointment... not that it sucks, like what you said, it actually gave me a few helpful tips that enhanced my pass a lot. Ninja 2, despite me not having it, has had great reviews all over the net. It teaches several things that are hard to find and it has several helpful tips on double lifting, audience management, fanning, forcing, and palming. It also teaches the Zarrow Shuffle for Dai Vernon's "Triumph" plot.

However, for a new person learning the pass, get Ken Krenzel's "The Pass" or Richard Kaufman's "On the Pass". On the Pass is great for starters in passes, and it has several nice variations on it. If you want to see a person with really great passes, type "Peter Duffie" into any search engine. When you see his riffle pass, it will prove to be more than enough of an inspiration for you to start learning to do a pass.

Jay Sankey does a great riffle pass, too. Even looking for it, I can't tell he's doing it.
