does ANYONE have any tips on backpalming a coin? i have tried and tried and cant seem to hold it even remotely natural

I won't even try to do a BackPalm. Try to rework it with some other Backclip.

I prefer using the Goshman pinch, where the coin is clipped between the pinkie and ring finger, YOu get into it the same way you would as a regular backpalm, just don't clip it with your forefinger. It's so much easier and looks better, although the angles aren't as good.

A Deep Backclip between either the top or middle two fingers would work also. In Deep Backclip between your middle two, the angles actually seem to be better than Tenkai Pinch.

My huge problem with backpalming and sometimes finger palming or french drops and such is that I'm a huge knuckle cracker. That causes the knuckles of the fingers to get real fat, causing negative space in between the actualy fingers. The little tiny space is just enough to flash a silver coin

Actually, my docotor told me cracking your knuckles does nothing to your knuckles. You also cannot get arthritis from cracking knuckles. I crack my knuckles about 20 times a day, and my fingers sit flush with each other. I think you just have fat knuckles Kraynik.....

You could always get super robot hands that can backpalm for you. I'd go with a Goshman Pinch or a back thumb palm... I never do backpalms. It'd painful and frustrating haha

or... you could stop whining about your knuckles size and just practice.

You can invest in Revolutionary Coin Magic by Jay Sankey. It goes into so much detail on the Goshman Pinch. It is, in my opinion, the best backclip I know.

You can always invest in some specially made coins as well. Nielsen Magic makes some that are the size of silver dollars. It's worth looking into if you do a stage show.

Practicing won't make a difference in my anatomy.
