What do you think are the best 5 tricks from the bobo book without trick coins? I'm really not sure what trick to learn and I don't know if I recognize the good tricks in the book or if I just read by them. Thank you for replies...

There is no "best tricks"

It is all opinion... My advice would be to go to the index, pick your favorite section and read those tricks... That way you decide for yourself which tricks are the best....

Being the most popular trick doesnt make it the best

My god this annoys me. Just humor the poor child and pretend that their are "best tricks". Better yet just pick your favorite tricks and say they are "the best"

Anyways I don't do coin stuff so I can't help you there.

Pookie, you just made a thread in this forum about your coin performance mishap.

Anyway, I like a lot of tricks in the book. But if I had to pick favorites, I'd say...

Copper Silver Transpo
Coins in Teeth
Drop Pass
Winged Silver
Silver Extraction
Ghost of a Coin
Miser's Dream

Actually, now that I look through the book, I realize I still haven't looked at a lot of tricks. I'll update my favorite's when I read them.

I like the "Touch of Midas". It's on page 90 under Quick Tricks.

Quote:
Effect: The conjuror shows his left hand empty and closes it. A spectator touches his left wrist. When the hand is opened it contains a coin! The coin is removed. This procedure is continued until four or five coins are produced.

I like it a lot because of how easy it is. I use it as an opener for my coins across Routine

The dissapointment is that a lot of them are really great tricks but require sleeves or a suit jacket, which I never wear.

I'm extremely partial to the effects having to do with penetrating the leg of one's pant leg. I think they are Though the Leg and Pants Leg Miracle, on pages 63 and 73, respectively. Both are under the Quick Tricks chapter.

This is the best encyclopedia of coin magic ever, so you made an excellent choice by purchasing it! Just be sure to practice the effects and any of the tricks in the book are sure to amaze.

you know i thought exactly the same thing. I've read the description of many tricks, liked them a lot, but discovered they require sleeving and when i do magic i hardly ever wear a suit jacket...

thanks for all your input :D
