I'm still a beginner at coin magic. And I'm going to start practicing only coin magic for a little while, because I really want to be good with coins. I have 2 things on coin magic so far: In the Beginning There Were Coins (DVD) (
http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=1581) and Modern Coin Magic (Book) (
http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=535).
I've only been looking at ITBTWC because that was the first thing I got when I started coin magic and I stopped coin magic for a little bit and went to card magic. Then when I returned to coin magic, I thought that I should finish mastering all the stuff on ITBTWC first, because I got that first and was already in to it. Then I would start on MCM.
Now this brings me to a question: Should I keep doing what I planned; Finish ITBTWC and then move on to MCM?
Or, should I maybe go little by little with both ITBTWC and MCM? What I mean is, I'm just finishing up learning the last few essential sleights on ITBTWC. After I've done that, should I go over to MCM and then read all the sleights that they teach? And then practice the ones that I didn't learn from ITBTWC? And keep going like this (sleights for sleights, tricks for tricks, etc.)?
