Hey guys,

I was looking on a bookstore website and I found a book called Modern Coin Magic by J.B Bobo.

However, there are several things which strike me as odd about this book.
One, this book has a different cover from any other websites selling it, and two, it is at least $20 cheaper than any other website selling it, including Penguin.

Can anyone tell me if this is the REAL famous Modern Coin Magic book?

Thanks,

~ Pingumagic

Even though your link didn't lead anywhere, I was able to find it. Yes it is the real Bobo book. It is probably a different edition of an Australian edition or done by a different publisher...it is the same words on the paper. Also, it is cheaper on penguin...almost half price.

If you are short on cash, get the paperback, however if you have the extra $ then get New Modern Coin Magic, which is a hardback and contains more material than the paperback.

This edition's copyright expired, so to get around losing rights to it the copyright holder created the "New" edition. This is a reprint of the original edition and like fcchief and others have said, it's the real thing but lacks a few additional chapters.
